Mother Charged with Homicide in Deaths of Two Children and Injury of Infant in Massachusetts

A 32-year-old woman from Massachusetts is facing charges in connection to the deaths of her two young children and the injury of her baby, according to authorities.

On Tuesday evening, police received a 911 call from a man who reported that his wife, Lindsay Clancy, had attempted suicide by jumping out of a window at their home in Duxbury. First responders treated Clancy on the scene before transporting her to a Boston hospital, where her condition is currently unknown. Upon arriving at the scene, first responders found three young children inside the home who were unconscious and showing signs of severe trauma. A 5-year-old girl and a 3-year-old boy were both pronounced dead after being transported to a nearby hospital.

A 7-month-old boy was flown to a Boston hospital for treatment. The cause of death for the two children has yet to be determined. The district attorney announced that an arrest warrant had been issued for Lindsay Clancy on two counts of homicide, as well as three counts each for strangulation and assault and battery with a deadly weapon. The mother is currently under police custody. The investigation is ongoing, and it is not yet known if Lindsay Clancy had any known mental health issues.
